Cheshmeh Psychotherapeutic Practice

What is Cheshmeh?

Cheshmeh is a spring that streams out from the earth, finding a way through rocks, pebbles and soil. Cheshmeh Psychotherapeutic Practice is inspired by this beautiful and reflective aspect of nature.

Emotions have deep roots within the self and may go through turmoil. Their flow can become obstructed or suppressed. Cheshmeh Psychotherapeutic Practice offers a space to reflect on this process. This space is where we can become curious about the many diverse aspects of life. It is a contained, safe and reflective space, where one can wonder at the multiple flourishing of the mind.

Emotions, like water, can get muddy and it can become difficult to see with clarity. The practice offers support to give clarification and understanding of the difficult emotions that life can bring.

Who is Cheshmeh for?

Cheshmeh is for those who are eager to be curious, to explore and express all the colours of the emotions. Emotions that might have been supressed, scarred, lost, damaged, spent and exhausted. Cheshmeh is for those who want to wonder at the reflections in the water of the self. Who want to make sense of life and the difficulties that it can bring. Cheshmeh encourages us to use drawing, playing, storytelling, creating, and other ways of embracing self because it is not always easy talk about our emotions.
